A 21 year-old woman goes through her life day to day without a smile. She watches, observes the daily life that goes around her just as people would observe her, as a gloomy bystander. Only what goes on inside her head keeps her moving, keeps her alive. On a regular day she sees a relationship fall apart and thinks to herself "love is for the fainthearted". A little later she sees a car crash down the road and thinks to herself "serves you right".
